[She wants them to take care of Koo? Not that they wouldn't jump at the opportunity to spend some time with the little pokemon, but this seems awfully short notice. Within a couple hours, she'd said...]

Mhmmm. I just won't have time to play with him, and I don't know when I'll be finished. I'd hate to keep him cooped up in that ball for so long.
[Wait, she's making this sound like it'll be much longer than she intends.] Ah, not that it'll be months or anything! I should be done within a week. Hopefully sooner. Zaveid has a bad sense of time, but we're thinking no longer than that.
[Zaveid... right, right, they know him. Frisk nods, which is perhaps telegraphed in the tone of their voice as they say, mostly to themself:]

[They're still curious about what's going on - it probably has to do with magic if Rin is involved - and why it's going to take so long. A week isn't too bad, but it's certainly a noteworthy amount of time. Frisk isn't necessarily one to press for details, though, and if it means some face-time with her cute pokemon...]

OK. I'll be sure to play with him. He can meet Duckie next time I visit, too.
